After a hectic but fruitful week, I decided to reconnect with an old friend from my bike racing days and go for a leisurely mountain bike rides in one of my favorite places on earth.
Favorite because:
1) it has the longest, most beautiful downhill in the area followed by a kickass climb
2) it is bright enough in most parts where I don't fell like I'm going to get buttraped by a creepy woodland guy
3) where it is dark, it is eerily dark, but luckily I can bomb through that section pretty fast
4) nobody on the weekdays.
I love days off.
